Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you create a Core Cash account, we collect your email address and optional shop name. When you use the app, we store the core deposit data you enter (part names, suppliers, amounts, deadlines, VINs, notes).

We do not collect personal information beyond what you provide. We do not track you across other websites.

2. How we use it

Your data is used solely to provide the Core Cash service:

  • Displaying your core deposits and dashboard
  • Sending email reminders before return deadlines (Pro plan)
  • Generating monthly P&L summaries
  • Authenticating your account

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-party services

Core Cash uses the following third-party services to operate:

  • Supabase — database hosting and authentication (data stored in the US)
  • Vercel — application hosting
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (reminders)
  • Polar — subscription billing and payment processing

Each service processes data according to their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.

4. Data security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database access is protected by Row-Level Security — each user can only access their own data. Authentication tokens are stored in secure, HTTP-only cookies. Server-side secrets are never exposed to the browser.

5. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (profile, cores, reminders) is permanently deleted from our database.

6. Cookies

Core Cash uses only essential cookies for authentication (session management). We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking cookies.

7. Your rights

You can:

  • Access all your data through the app at any time
  • Update your profile information
  • Delete individual core records
  • Request full account deletion by contacting us

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Core Cash after changes constitutes acceptance.
